You’ve probably questions about your piercing and we’d love to help you out in any way possible. We’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions by our customers — but if you still have something in mind, please get in touch with us.
WHAT AFTERCARE IS RECOMMENDED?
I will always recommend sterile saline to clean a fresh and healing piercing. Neilmed is an excellent brand and it’s stocked in the studio. The large bottles are sold at £10.

HOW MUCH IS THE JEWELLERY?
Jewellery ranges much from what type of jewellery, the material it is made from and design of the piece. For this reason we hold a 'piercing fee' price and a jewellery charge. Because there are so many options all at their own individual prices jewellery can range from £15-£200+. Basic prices for plain titanium jewellery is outlined in the service list on the "Book Online" page of this website if you click "Read More" under the piercing you wish to book.

CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELLERY?
Due to quality and hygiene standards at Adorned only jewellery from the store can be used for fresh and healing piercings. If you're not sure whether your piercing is still healing, it's best to ask before booking anything. For jewellery changes on fully healed piercings please check our terms and conditions for details on what is accepted.

DO YOU STOCK RETAINERS FOR MRI SCANS?
Body safe, glass retainers are stocked in the studio, these are made for potential long term wear also. It is however always best to message first to check that the correct stock is currently in for the piercings you have. Custom orders for glass retainers can be made however lead times can be 6 weeks.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
You don't have to book, if you're around and want to pop in you can see if there is space for a walk in, you absolutely can. It is however a lot better if you can book to avoid disappointment. I also have children so, sometimes if they're off sick or I need time changes during the school holidays I might not be able to open up as usual! If in doubt, check my availability on the book online page or send a WhatsApp my way on 07990 858905. If you're just coming in to browse jewellery, you're welcome to walk in, however if I'm back to back booked up with appointments I may not have time to talk through jewellery and fit it for you if you need. So if you're looking to have something put in there and then, its best to book a jewellery change or a jewellery shopping appointment.
DO YOU PIERCE NOSTRILS WITH A RING?
At Adorned, freshly pierced nostrils will only have labret stud jewellery install into them. From experience, trust me when I say rings for initial nostril piercings are just not worth it! They often result in healing complications. Rings can be installed once fully healed which can take around 6-9 months.
Where can I park?
There is 3 hours free parking for customers of Tesco which is a 30s-1m walk. Alternatively a 1-2 minute walk is Swan Lane car park, the parking prices here are low.
How can I pay?
Cash or card payments are accepted in the studio. Our card reader also accepts Apple Pay.
